      At his brother's residence, Malvern, where he became seriously ill on a visit, Mr. Thomas Wittick, aged 62 years, passed away on 3rd inst. One of a Bacchus Marsh family of 10, deceased left the district 40 years ago. After many years in the brickmaking trade he took up a home-made cake business at Balwyn. He leaves a widow (formerly Miss Elizabeth Currie, of Darley), and one daughter. Six brothers and two sisters survive. Interment took place at Maddingley Cemetery on Sunday, Rev. A. W. Singleton officiating.
